I'm giving it one star bc I have to. We've given this two tries and it's been bad both times. Just a snip-it of our dining experience: I ordered adult grilled cheese bc I had a burger the day before and apparently they ran out of regular bread so instead of telling me that they proceeded to take a burger bun and turn it inside out and put unmelted cheese in the middle and pass that off as "grilled" cheese. Not mentioned they were a bit understaffed for the amount of people in there and you could cut the tension with a knife. When I go out to eat I want to enjoy my experience not be afraid to show the waiter my messed up food for fear they will go postal on me.

Poor service. Tasteless burger. Beer was decent. Appetizers served with meal. Won't be back.

We walked in feeling super welcome! The owner served us herself, amazing personality. Great beer yummy food! Open late too.

I too will wait to give 5 stars for a second visit. That being said, I (we) were thoroughly impressed with out first trip here. Two rare and one medium, all cooked to perfection, and BIG! One salad that all all fresh ingredients (ie: nothing wilted or fading color and crisp as they should be). Waited on by "Tom" who was exceptionally attentive without being intrusive. Craft beer selection was very good. Party next to us had 2 burgers, one of which was a medium, very slightly overcooked, but not to the point where one could call it well done. In spite of there being no pink, the gentleman conveyed he was quite satisfied. His wife's "well" was perfect. We are looking froward to going back. A repeat performance of both food and service will bump this review to 5 stars. I don't often write reviews, but after reading some of the terrible ones on this place, and experiencing quite the opposite, I felt compelled to award them with a review I found them well deserving of.

I went to this place around when it first opened and I was really disappointed. The menu looked awesome and the burgers sounded delicious on the menu but what came was a very bland I would rather eat at McDonald's. I was really hoping this place would be awesome and it looked awesome and the menu sounded awesome. The atmospheres seem good in the place and clean but I don't know how you can make a burger taste so bad it just tasted like nothing. It was the weirdest thing ever... how can you have burger meat that just tastes that bad plain and simple. I really hope I give this place another try soon and the quality and taste and season gets better. I will change my review if that happens. Maybe it was just a bad start for the new place. Psl is in dire need of some better restaurants.

Great ho-made burgers done your way with hand cut fries and a nice beer selection. We will be back!

Had the hangover burger so good, nothing wrong with that burger and two words - bacon mayonnaise believe that

Good beer selection and great menu. Our bartender was terrible. I asked for a recommendation and she told me to get the veggie burger, it was the worst burger ever. Everything else we asked for came out wrong multiple times. waited for her to check on us and she never did, i took 1 bite and almost thru up and didn't touch any of the food after, when she finally came back i told her the burger was shit and she didn't even apologize for recommending it and didn't take it off our bill or ask if i wanted something else. I've had the Buffalo chicken egg rolls which are great until i bit a huge bone, again no apology or comp

Worst burger I ever had. Meat had no taste and the bun was way too big. I ordered it cooked medium and they served me a hockey puck. Fries were good. When we told the waiter about our experience he argued with us. Bad food and poor customers service. Nothing at this location lasts long.

  • Kim B.

It was yummy. Fries are very tasty too!!! I had a bite of my friend's bacon cheeseburger and it was yummy!!!!! I'm thinking these people don't have taste buds to say it is "terrible". It was not too loud in there. It was just fine. The hamburger buns are awesome and the inside is very modern. They do need to work on their craft beer list as it was very small. Other than that, I'm giving them 3 stars for the time being. Our server was Gail...and she was great. Place needs to work out the kinks. Good luck guys!!!!

  • AnnMarie C.

Service is really nice and prompt. They have a large selection of craft beer as well as brands. I had a raspberry cider but they also have my favorite Woodcock cider. I order the garden burger my husband the classic that was absolutely delicious.

  • Susan G.

This was the perfect post-beach late lunch spot! Gluten free brews, vegetarian options, and some unique burger combos made this a unique experience. Wait staff was friendly, music wasn't too loud, clean, and happy place. Fries were tasty!

Have tried the burgers fries and nachos here. All were very good. Service was decent with ambiance being their weakest point. Eh. It is a Burger joint. A wee bit expensive but they also have many on line coupons.

  • Kelly M.

The food has been excellent every time we have gone (about 6). They don't always have everything they advertise. However the fries are AWESOME!!

  • Sean W.

The burgers were DELICIOUS - the fries were crispy and the place is clean. I was a little turned off by the price, but it beats the big mac and possibly cheaper than Wendy's with their prices. Close to house, wife and I will be back. Little tough to find but it is easier to get in on the south side of PSL blvd, near Airoso.

    (5)
  • Roger M.

Staff was friendly & welcoming Great choices of craft beers. Burger was cooked correct but the fried cheese sticks were not cooked thru or melted on the inside. Fries were okay but really need a good season salt. Chili wasn't too bad. Prices a little on the high end, wish we'd had a local dines coupon. Need to offer free WIFI to the customers.

Found this place on Yelp last night and tried it with my husband and kids. Amazing service! Alisha was wonderful and very attentive! My husband had the hangover burger, and was in love. My son, being the weirdo he is had the peanut butter burger and ate the whole thing before I even finished half of mine. My littlest guy ordered the kids Mac & Cheese and he of course loved that. It wasn't the reheated hot mess most places serve. It was cooked to order and tasty. (I stole a bite. I had to taste it, you know.. "for poison." lol) I ordered the Spicy Pepper burger. Most places that say "spicy" really don't know the meaning. Its either terribly spicy with no flavor whatsoever, just burn or its not spicy. My burger had the perfect balance of spice and flavor. It was excellent. For me to enjoy a burger is odd. I am not a huge red meat eater. I went here simply because the family wanted to go. Overall, everyone left full and happy!! We will definitely be back!

One of the best turkey burgers I've ever had. The fries are fresh and thin cut and were delicious. Service was great as well!

    (5)
  • Gina D.

Burgers were good but pricy for what you get. Service was good but not enough servers for the number of occupied tables. Most likely will try another spot before going back again.

  • Chris A.

There are so few Vegetarian options in PSL. It's so nice to see 3 veg burgers on the menu. Portabello burger, garden burger and black bean burger. We just tried 2 of 3, Portabello and a Black Bean, both were excellent. Add some choice craft brews and a friendly vegetarian bartender and almost forgot where we were.

I was in the mood for a good burger and my friend recommended this spot and I'm so glad we went ! I had the misdemeanor burger and was extremely satisfied. Nice selection of beer , extremely friendly staff. This is my new GO TO Burger Spot !

Great selection of burgers! Everyone at my table thought it was gross (they didn't try it), but I got the peanut butter bacon burger! Delicious!!!

We bought a Local Dines coupon for $10 off of a $20 meal At IRBC. I had the Caprese Burger and my husband had the Hangover burger. We subbed out the fries for Cilantro Apple Slaw and he had a beer. There was a decent craft beer selection. Our burgers (both medium rare) were perfectly cooked. I thought my burger was absolutely delicious, he was less impressed with his, noting that the egg was over cooked. With the Local Dines deal, our order came to just $18 which was well worth it. I do wonder why the "cilantro apple slaw" is named as such since it was nothing but ordinary coleslaw. Also, when we went, we were literally the only customers at what should have been a busy time. I always find this a little off putting. The service was excellent, but the atmosphere was a bit lacking. Overall, the food was very good, but without the coupon I don't know if I would go back.

Peanut Butter Burger.....hmmmm. Yep I tried it. Two of us in our dining party had the Peanut Butter Burger, one had a Classic Cheese Burger, and one the Four Cheese Burger. I can say the appetizers we had were better than the burgers. We had the Cheese Sticks and the Jalapeno Cheese Jammers both very good. Our burgers were dry as dust; too dry. One of our friends ordered her burger medium it came out black as could be and as well done as you can imagine. Many items we asked about were unfortunately not available but yet still on the menu. Our server was super nice but once they became slightly busy she forgot about us. We had very high hopes but they have been dashed. Oh well, another not-so-great Port St. Lucie Restaurant.

  • Steve T.

This is a pretty good local burger joint that has a wide selection of different burgers (lamb to veggie black bean)! The time we went was pretty slow, so the service was FAST! we would definitely go back again. Their fries can be crispier is the only draw back from my first visit

    (4)
  • Gary M.

Second time around not so great. Chili fries app tasted like hormel chili, don't recommend. Wife and I asked for medium burgers and they were both well done. Fries were cold, and service was slow even though it wasn't crowded. Most of the beer choices were not available. All well, we might give it new more shot in a few months.

If you are looking for a Great Burger, this is definitely the place to come. Talking cooked to Perfection, and all food as fresh as it gets. Beer selection can't be denied. Will be back to try the wings next, as I've heard many good reviews of those too. Definitely will be back.

The only thing better than my Hawaiian burger, was the attentive service we received. Great place to watch football.

Ok, place was nice, nice bar, had bingo playing at same time but wasn't over busy. The waitress was nice. Beer on tap is plentiful. Some things on the me u were in available. But all said n restaurants all alike aside. The burger was by far the best burger I have ever had. Hands down. The rest doesn't matter lol.

We came to IRBC after hearing rave reviews from friends and strangers alike. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. While we were promptly greeted and seated with drink orders taken and delivered, we ended up waiting an hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive. During this time, our server failed to even communicate any acknowledgement of our wait, and we even started wondering if they had lost our ticket. Once the food came out, it was overcooked and under seasoned. Overall, it was incredibly lackluster for all of the shining praise it has received. Had the customer service been a bit better, I might be inclined to give it a second chance but I have better things to do than wait over an hour for a burger and fries.

Tried IRBC today thanks to a deal at local dines. We ordered a Bacon Gorgonzola burger and a Hawaiian burger. They came with a nice side of fries. We each had half so we can try both. I am still full and we ate 2 hours ago. Would go back again. Lots of burgers to choose from. Staff was very friendly!

    (4)
  • Greg J.

The food there is just about as good as it gets! You can eat there for about $5 more then McDonald's. No brainer! I eat there quiet a bit and I'm starting to see some consistency and I'm sure that place will have a great future if they keep it up!

    (5)
  • Brandon S.

Waaaay overpriced - in all aspects. The selection of beers and burgers made expectations high but quality and taste were severely lacking. It was completely dead on a Sun afternoon. I'm not sure if it would ever get busy, although it's at a very congested section of PSL. Lots of seating though. We came for the free pint Yelp check in offer and were almost denied it. I've never understood this tactic in the service industry. Only bad things can happen when attempting to discredit an offer which brought a patron to your business. We were privileged enough to witness an argument on the distribution of tables between the waitstaff. This was greatly contrasted by the same waiters dicking around and not tending to the previously mentioned tables.

Damn good burger. I got the hangover burger. This place doesn't deserve the 3 star average it currently has. I'd give a 5 star but the $7 IPAs prevent me from doing that.

So we came here tonight to listen to the one man acoustic musician and to try the burgers. This was our first time here. I had the regular burger with cheddar & bacon medium well & it was tasty & juicy. My hubby on the other hand ordered the regular medium & it was rare & cool, the waitress offered to replace the burger but having to wait over 35 mins for the food he opted out. If you love french fries you will be in heaven! They are fresh & tasty and plentiful. I could only eat a third of my portion. The waitress was great I just felt bad for her because the kitchen seems slow. Overall I would recommend and will be back The live music on Wed was great! Highly recommend seeing Zack Jones play music

  • Ali K.

The restaurant was dead a totally of about 5 people in the entire place. This would lead you to believe you would receive prompt service since they have nothing to do.....yeah, no. It took the waitress 20 min to ask what I wanted to drink and then another 10 or so to come back and get my order. They really need to work on the service. However, my grilled cheese sandwich was the bomb.

  • Frank L.

Well I went back and tried the place again, I can't really say anything more than the food is mediocre and onion rings, sub'd for the fries at 2 additional dollars, were terrible. The batter didn't even stick on them and had a plain flour taste. My son, who is an indiscriminate eating machine didn't even care for them. Had peanut butter burger, just so-so. Waiter was attentive is about the best thing I can say. Lunch with a tea, one burger/ring combo and a hot dog/fries combo came to 25$ with a 4 buck tip. This will probably be the last time I go, quite honestly I like Wendy's taste more. (And in not a huge fan of them but I truly think it's better).

  • Alexis R.

Underwhelming, to say the least. Our waiter was not very friendly, and was talking to other staff members while waiting on us, which made it difficult to communicate with him. He never asked how I wanted my burger cooked, which resulted in it coming out looking like a hockey puck, a cardinal sin for a burger place. I got the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger, and it was just ok. It needed something else, but I'm not sure what. The fries were actually really good, probably the best part of the whole meal. My husband liked his Buffalo Chicken Burger, which was actually not a burger at all, but a chicken sandwich (despite the menu describing it as being made of ground chicken). It really confused my husband when the waiter asked if he wanted it grilled, as the menu definitely said it was a burger. Also, we ordered the Fried Cheese Kabobs as an appetizer. I expected, you know, KABOBS, since that is what they were called, but they were just chunks of fried cheese on toothpicks. It was pretty lame, and WAY too expensive for what we got - 7 or 8 bucks for six chunks of cheese. Actually, that is another issue with this place. Way overpriced. I usually give restaurants a second, sometimes even a third, chance, so I'll go back, but I'm not expecting much.

I will start off by saying you lost a star by not changing your fries. they suck! But the Burgers are great and a great place to have great Craft Beer! Please IRBC OWNERS I LOVE YOUR PLACE ADD BETTER SIDES! then you will get 5 stars!

  • Tina C.

We love it here! I can't help but always get the Caprese burger. I always get burgers medium and have not been disappointed. My fiancé always goes with well done and hasn't had any complaints either. He's had the Gorgonzola burger, the hangover burger and the misdemeanor, which was huge! He wasn't able to finish that one. The fries are yummy and salads are always fresh! The service has always been good. The staff are always friendly and attentive. I don't know why other reviewers have had problems but I think they should try it again. We'll definitely return and who knows maybe I'll finally give the lamb burger a shot!

  • Tiffany C.

My girlfriend and I went here last night with fingers crossed. We'd heard so many mixed reviews on it between our friends and yelp - either fantastic or absolutely terrible. I'm both glad and saddened to say our experience was neither. We were not disappointed, but it wasn't very impressive to say the least. The waitress had no idea about craft beer, she did not ask how we wanted our burgers cooked even though this is a burger place and that saying should be embedded into her memory, and it was just an incredibly long wait time for mediocre food and such a slow night. The staff is friendly, just not being trained to do their job accurately or refuse to. We got our drinks promptly though and the nachos were awesome. We probably will not be returning, just wasn't anything special.

Great burgers and the fries are amazing! Weve been mostly during lunchtime and the food is prepped pretty fast.. We did go one time on a friday evening for dinner... Food took forever to come.. Must try the Hangover burger.. A winner for sure!!

I had a turkey burger which was awful. My husband had a regular cheeseburger which he thought was just ok.

This was our first trip to IRBC and the burgers and daily freshly cut fries were fantastic. Daniel was our server and he was very attentive and knew his menu. We each got a different burger and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selection. We will definitely be going back. The service was excellent. The only negative is they were all out of coffee for the elderly person in our party. Daniel gave two of us a sample of their crafted beers, which we weren't crazy about so we stuck with sodas instead. All in all, great value for the burgers. You pay about the same for a fast food burger and these were way better and the fries were awesome!

  • Laurie S.

When we first went to IRBC, it was new and they were learning, so we forgave the not-so-spiffy service, figuring it would get better. But, tonight, a month and a half later, we experienced really poor service in a near empty restaurant. I'm beginning to doubt that this place will survive their own inability to improve.

  • Heroilda S.

Burgers are delicious but the fries or awful. Twice that I've gone there they serve me burn or cold nasty fries. Their sweet potato fries are pretty good. The servers look like they hate their jobs, their attitude is just unpleasant. I've never worked as a server but I would never serve a plate with burn fries! It's obvious that they don't care and they are using old oil because the fries are so dark and I took culinary so I learned that there. My boyfriend and I were waiting for our check for like 5 mins and the workers just kept passing by us and conversing. I felt like we were invisible. They need to find better workers that really want to be there.

Been here twice so far with me wife & both times the food was great. We like rolls way better then 5 guys & the burgers are served open face. Theres also way more options & different types of meat like bison, lamb, angus beef etc. & Homecut fries come with every order. Finally theres lots of sit down dinning & craft beers. The owner/manager Megan came to our table & the server Marrissa was a treat. For a bonus, I ChECKed IN on YELP & get a FREE beverage (I chose Cigar City Maduro Brown ale ) Salute!

  • Brendan L.

If you're going to open a burger restaurant you should serve above average burgers. Their burgers are terrible. Tasteless. Not even good enough for my bulldog. Chili was terrible. Worst I've ever had. Fries were almost good, but really had a stale texture to them. This place isn't going to last long. On to the next restaurant please.

  • Kathy P.

By far, best burger on the Treasure Coast. I rate the food a 5. Service was friendly, but a little slow. Honestly, I do not think it was the servers fault. They were short handed, so it was a management issue. So this comment is directed at management - Improve your service and you will get more 5's. Your food is fantastic but diners in this area want good food AND prompt service.

Awesome burgers! Staff seem to enjoy their jobs and are super friendly! We took our kids and they were suprised with watermelon chunks before the meal and with cake pops after. The food came out much quicker than expected and was priced reasonably. This is our new favorite burger place!

  • Sam S.

Food was just ok, nothing great. Soggy fries and it took a very long time for our food to arrive. Service was very slow and when we talked to the owner he was very ride and defensive. We won't be going back.

So I was at this new place in town for lunch with my mother and son. It is called I.r.b.c. Indian River burger company. It's a burger joint in case you weren't sure. It was formally whiskey J's, epic fail, formerly Big boy barbecue, yet another fail. So what do we do. Let's put another restaurant in a location that will ultimately fail . The location already has blade luck for restaurants. Let's see how long this place lasts. I wish them luck and they're going to need it. Our server was Zach. He was pleasant. the only opportunity treat I saw for Zach was that he didn't check his tables enouch. I ran out of my drink and had to ask for a refill. Sorry that is a major pet peeve for me. My son that will eat practically anything. Didn't like his french fries. My sweet potato fries were under cooked. Temp on the oil needed to be hotter. My mother ordered a peanut butter bacon cheese burger. And quite literally that was all it wad. Presentation was lame. I ordered a California burger. It was a turkey burger, bland, with avocado, cheese and something else not sue what it was probably could have done without it. Ruby Tuesdays avocado turkey gorge is more flavorful and half the price. I believe at this point we will not be returning to this eatery mediocre at best and over priced too. You're better off at five guys for the money.

Burgers had absolutely no flavor. You can dress up a burger all you like, but if the foundation of the burger has no flavor what's the point? The meat tasted like unseasoned ground beef topped with whatever "extravagant" toppings they had to cover up the tasteless meat. Fries were a little too greasy and for a burger it took a bit too long for our food to come out. I'll be getting my burgers at other places.

Fresh, amazing variety of burgers and dogs! We tried the caprese and the Cali. Fresh buns and quality meat. Our son had the adult sized dog and ate the entire thing. Both kids claimed the homemade fries were the best they ever had. Turkey burger was juicy. Attentive and friendly service. We are visiting , and wish this new spot the best!

First of all...it is rare to find a trendy restaurant with good food in Port St. Lucie. The burger was delicious...and onion rings totally tasty too! Fries were not good...at all. I usually eat pretty healthy food, so when I splurge I want it to be worth the calories. The wine list was limited and after two different glasses... I realized I should've just gotten a beer. The wait for our food was longer than it should be, but our server was attentive and very personable. I got the regular cheeseburger and I still can't believe it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Atmosphere is cute...much nicer than a normal PSL dining experience. I will return for a second time.

Best burgers in town! Yes there might be a little wait but at least we know they are making them fresh. Ive never had anything I didn't like on the menu. Favorite burgers are the Caprese burger, portabella birger and souther charm? I think its called. Yum!!

We sat down and were greeted promptly. The waitress took our drink order and returned soon after. We couldn't help but notice the flies buzzing around. They started landing on our table and then on us! We looked around and saw other people shewing them away. It was at that point when we thought if there are this many flies in the dining room, they must be in the kitchen too on the food. The flies were so annoying, I couldn't pay attention to the menu. We decided to tell the waitress we were leaving and we left. She handled the news very well. We told her that we would try again some other time.

Have been here many times since they opened, my son & his family also go often. I have always found the burgers fantastic, cooked just the way I like it. Hubby ordered Bison & wasn't thrilled but it was ok, dil tried black bean burger & loved it. My granddaughter & I are bacon cheeseburger fans & every single time they're great! Fries are fantastic as well. My only complaint is service is iffy and slow. Occasionally we get a great server, when its my hubby & I or with our friends we're retired so it doesn't matter too much as long as we're greeted given a drink & smile we're ok, not everyone has that luxury. The burgers are worth it and when you figure a son of baconator meal medium drink & fried at Wendy's is about $8 and the baconator meal is is about $10 the prices here except for tip is equal. Serving sizes are large, I usually have 1/2 a burger & 1/2 of the fries left over (lunch the next day)! When I read all the posts I couldn't believe some were so bad. I hope the owners take all the bad as a learning tool because it's a great restaurant and would HATE to see the place close because of complacent staff & owners.

Very good food and service, will definitely be back, Rachel's Turkey burger was a bit bland, but we will definitely be trying some more of the menu. Atmosphere is open, clean, industrial, nice big bar, plenty of TVs. Looks to be a nice selection of draft beers. Our server, Erin, was fantastic, very personable and present. Drinks always full. Very good experience.

Our burgers were cooked to perfection, one medium and one medium rare! I had the Caprese burger and my fiancé had the Hangover burger, both excellent. The only complaint I had is that the fries seemed soggy to me, my fiancé thought they were ok. We'll be back!

Great service..... Waitress Deanna was so friendly and attentive! My husband loves ---- guys and said this is comparable and even better. Beer selection is fun, food is delicious. My husband had the hangover and it was out of this world. I had turkey burger and it was perfect. Fries are good too, different and tasty. Surprised by this gem, hope it stays open.

Was really disappointed on our lunch today!! The waitress did not even asked us how we wanted our burger cooked. So we told her medium our food came out 30minutes later not even a busy lunch we already had 3 glasses of drinks while waiting for it! Two of my friends burger patty was raw it seemed like it was just seared on the grill while mine was overdone it's not worth it to expensive and it's not even cooked right!! Grill cooks and chefs should step up fire it right it's not a sloppy joes! Not coming back!

Thanks for a $12 slider as my meal. The patty was half the size of the bun. Where's the beef IRBBC???I will not be back. Do not waste your time and money at this over priced failure.

Went there yesterday with my wife. The Waiter was very professional and helpful with describing the foods that were available. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger and it was delish. A little bit of a wait on the food is the only reason I reduced to 4 stars.so if your in a rush don't expect your food quickly. I will certainly eat there again

We were so excited for this place to open. Went once and had the worst experience ever. They didn't even have any appropriate kid drinks (soda or water) so my hubby had to go to the gas station next door to get my daughter a juice. Our nachos didn't come with all the toppings (missing tomatoes and meat) and had to request it. They stated the kids meal could have the option of fruit, but after we ordered the server came back and said "well the didn't cut fruit today so we don't have any". When asked what beers were on tap we were told "we don't have a list and I can't remember them, but u can walk to the bar and take a look". Our burgers were overcooked and the whole experience was awful. Never going back.

My wife and I went for dinner tonight. We where greeted and sat very quickly. Server was nice. We ordered the outlaw fries as an appetizer, (nothing outlaw about it) My wife ordered the Hawaiian burger and I ordered the mushroom Swiss. The waitress never asked the temp of our burgers . After waiting 30 min. The app was here. It was a huge bowl of tasteless and sloppy mess. The whole bottom of the bowl was full of grease. They used some pink sauce over the top that made it so messy and soggy. They say it has chili in it. But it looked like ground beef cooked in its own grease. It took us 15 min before we told the waitress to pack our burgers. 45 min for a burger is quit ridiculous. Sure enough when I get home the burger was raw. Not knowing the burger was raw. I grabbed the burger took one bight and through it in the garbage. Not only was it raw but tasteless too. Sorry IRBC but we won't be coming back. ITS NOT THAT HARD TO MAKE A GOOD BURGER

We went in on July27th and it was pretty busy. They sat us immediately, but took about 10 minutes to take our drink order. Then about another 10 mins to bring the drinks and order the food. After about 45 mins of waiting for the food, the waitress came out to tell us they had run out of buns and had to go to the bakery to get them. We waited another 20 mins until the buns got there and then another 10 mins for the food. We were there for almost 2 hours total and not once did a manager come by to apologize or say anything at all. He walked around the restaurant with his head high like he was there for appearances only. The waitress did offer us an appetizer "on her". Unfortunately, when things like this happen, my husband refuses to return. The food was good, nothing spectacular, but I would definitely have gone back if not for the poor service.

Love burgers and was hopeful. Ultimately disappointed. The buffalo chicken eggrolls had about as much chicken as Campbells chicken noodle soup. They are more like spicy cheese eggrolls with a hint of chicken. We ate them, they were, eh, not worth the $7 ($2.33 each). The appetizer did arrive very quickly despite the crowd at 8pm on a Saturday, but our main courses took like 30-40 minutes to come. They're burgers, remember. My bf tried to order the Pork Belly BLT but they were out, so he ordered the Bison Burger instead. A $14 burger and fries! I got the BBQ Burger for $10.50. The Bison Burger was bland, totally unseasoned, and tasted like sludge meat he says. Just hated his burger. He really liked the fries though, he thought they were amazing. I thought the fries were absolutely terrible and tasted old and overcooked, while I did enjoy my burger. Unfortunately I've since had an upset stomach for the last few hours. Tried to stay positive through the experience, but just unhappy with too many things and the price is not consistent for what you get.

Great food...attentive wait staff and friendly owners. Have been there several times since they have opened and have had good experiences every time. I am hoping they continue to do well as psl needs more family owned places and less chains. Let's support our local business.

Everything was great, but will save 5 stars for second visit. I didn't read any of the reviews until after eating there, and I'm confused as to why they're all over the place. Either really bad or really good. Nothing in between? I went with someone who had eaten there before and raved about it. We got there at a time I thought it would be packed, but there were several seats and we had our choice or tables. We were immediately greeted with our menus and explanation of their beer choices and a drink order taken. Drinks came right away and he was ready to take our order but we were still reading the many, many unique choices and combinations they offered. Lamb burgers, bison burgers, chicken, veggie, beef, pulled pork, sevearl salads, franks and sausages that I didn't even have time to read. Waiter was great at explaining how dishes are prepared and you could make adjustments to your liking. My friend had the caprese burger that came with fresh tomato, fresh mozzerlla, crunchy pancetta, balsamic glaze and I think roasted red peppers. It looked awesome, but I was too busy with my own choice. I got the NC pulled pork. I asked for my cole slaw on the side, it was the best coleslaw I've ever had (excluding my own). A very generous heap of pulled pork on fresh tasty buns with a drizzle of bbq sauce and a little cup of sauce on the side. And the fries!! Skinny, fresh cut fries cooked to perfection. Just enough crunch to them. Everything came out hot, well presented and delicious. This place is a definite keeper, can't wait to return. It's nice to have a place that's not a worn out, tired chain restaurant. The wait staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. Prices are reasonble for what you get, I think the burgers ran from $9 - $12, total per person would depend on sides, salads and drinks. Our bill was $30 for tow, inclcuded a wine spritzer and ice tea. No room for dessert but they offered it. Another table had a birthday and they were served a delicious looking piece of chocolate cake.

Not terrible but not great either. Was really looking forward to trying this place. We rode down on a Tuesday; maybe 10 other customers in the place, but it still took over 30 minutes to get our food after ordering. The wait staff good. Good selection of craft beers on tap. When our food finally arrived my wife's selection, BBQ bacon burger, was cooked perfectly and delicious. I ordered the Bacon Gorgonzola burger, cooked medium. I was served an extremely well done hockey puck. The bun was good but not toasted and the fries, which most people rave about on this website, were luke warm and soggy. The apple cilantro slaw was delicious. The manager offered to have a new burger prepared but I was unwilling to wait another 30+ minutes while my wife's food got colder. And although I did not request it the manager did not charge me for my burger. Over all very disappointed, not worth another 45 minute drive to give them a 2nd try.

Where do I begin? I took my Dad out for lunch last Saturday as we routinely do because we like to experience new places. Even though the mixed reviews I received were not in favor of visiting this establishment, we did anyway. We had a craving for a great burger. Upon entering, the place was kind of busy for a Saturday afternoon at a PSL restaurant. We made our way from the door to the bar while being passed by several staff members..not a second of acknowledgment from any of them. OK. When we reached our stools at the bar, we sat there for close to 10 minutes with No menus or a greeting from the two people who were casually tending. The two tenders were a female in uniform and a gentleman in plain clothes. Eventually the gentleman approached us with a friendly tone and asked us what we would like to drink. My father who is not easy to mistake for anything less than an older disabled man, told the bartender that he is really hungry. The bartender replied in the most sarcastic way with "what does that have to do with what you want to drink"!! I advised him that we would first like food menus and then will decide what we would like to drink. He disappeared for another 5 minutes and then returned with one menu for both of us to look at. After reviewing the menu for both of us I clearly set the menu aside and attempted to gesture that we were ready. I kept this posture for another 10 minutes while the male bartender was tending to what appeared to be, something more important on his iPad. Those game apps will get you every time! When he finally decided to tend to the real business at hand and take our order, he was knowledgeable about the menu and guided me into a decision between 2 different options. We each ordered a burger but we wanted to begin with a starter, the chili for me and the soup of the day for my dad. He got his soup right away. By the time he was finished, my chili arrived. How?Their "award winning chili" must have been judged by Willy Wonka because it was terribly sweet and just. not good. Dad ordered his burger MedRare, but came out like a hockey puck. My burger was also way overcooked as I wasn't even asked what temp I preferred. Not too mention the meat was flavorless and the Chili relish was nasty. The shoestring fries were cold and what I would imagine eating slices of cardboard sprinkled with some salt would be like. By this time we needed more drinks to choke the food down but neither people behind the bar were very attentive or approachable. A new customer walked in and sat next to me and didn't even get acknowledged for over 10 minutes. He asked ME if i had some kind of magic to get someone to help him out. I had to raise my voice and point to my empty glass to the female tender upon almost a dozen passes by her. Who knows what the gentleman who took our original order was doing? We hadn't seen him in 20 minutes. Come to find out that he was actually the owner! It all started falling into place at that point..with the inattentive staff and all. Here we go again. Another wannabe entrepreneur with no experience or sense of good service in the hospitality world who decides to open a restaurant when they have no business doing so. I am really starting to get annoyed by these fly by night restaurants who want our money but fail miserably at delivering the most simplest of expectations! My forecast for this place is that we will once again see another business come and go very soon in this location as we have for the last 10 years.
